Euthanasia is an also wrong and irresponsible act.

Although the Supreme Court of the United States has ruled in two unanimous decisions that there is no constitutional right to PAS, three states permit it by statute: Oregon, Washington, and Vermont. Physician-assisted suicide and euthanasia are allowed in three European countries—the Netherlands, Belgium, and Luxembourg—and Switzerland allows assisted suicide.

By contrast, I argue that euthanasia is fundamentally wrong because it involves killing.

If intentionally contributing to or causing death is an appropriate course of treatment for suffering patients, then physicians should be able to provide this treatment to patients unable to make the request themselves.(89) The resulting policy of euthanasia for children and incompetent adults is regarded as intrinsically wrong, or as an option that poses an extraordinarily high risk of abuse.

Euthanasia is ethically wrong and sin before God.

A "right" is a moral claim. We do not have a claim on death. Rather, death has a claim on us!

There are groups in our country pushing for the "right" to use lethal injections on the seriously ill, or to remove their food and water. We must oppose such moral nonsense with all our strength. And the time to oppose it is now, before it becomes solidified in law.

Those in favour of euthanasia will argue that respect for this right not to be killed is sufficient to protect against misuse of euthanasia, as any doctor who kills a patient who doesn't want to die has violated that person's rights.

Why do atheists accept euthanasia?

On this article, I brought forth why euthanasia is wrong and sin against God.

Someone who makes a request for euthanasia is likely to have a bad quality of life (or a bad prognosis, even if they are not yet suffering much) and the knowledge that this will only get worse. If that is the case, death will not deprive them of an otherwise pleasant existence.

However, the love of money and wrong values have twisted hearts of the people, and they haven't the strength to wait, but want to carry out euthanasia.

If death is not a bad thing then many of the objections to euthanasia vanish.

For this reason, a man's euthanasia is wrong and sin before God.

page 80 WHEN DEATH IS SOUGHT Aquinas condemned suicide as wrong because it contravenes one's duty to oneself and the natural inclination of self-perpetuation; because it injures other people and the community of which the individual is a part; and because it violates God's authority over life, which is God's gift.(10) This position exemplified attitudes about suicide that prevailed from the Middle Ages through the Renaissance and Reformation.(11) By the sixteenth century, philosophers began to challenge the generally accepted religious condemnation of suicide.

is not morally wrong and that active euthanasia ..

In the early seventeenth century, for example, John Donne asserted that while suicide is morally wrong in many cases, it can be acceptable if performed with the intention of glorifying God, not serving self-interest.

his theory does not entail that active euthanasia is always wrong

Another reason why death is seen as a bad thing is that it's the worst possible violation of the the wishes of the person who does not want to die (or, to use philosophical language, a violation of their autonomy).

lives whenever there is something wrong with ..

Can you predict the future? Specifically, can you tell me what form of sickness or disease you will be afflicted with in the years ahead? Can you tell me what kind of treatment you will need? Of course not, says common sense. But common sense is not as common as we might think. The making of a "Living Will" presupposes that we know what kind of medical treatments we will want to use or avoid in the future. It speaks about treatments before we even know the disease; it turns a future option into a present decision. As I have explained above, not every medical treatment is always obligatory. But to figure out which treatments are obligatory, morally speaking, and which are only optional, one must know the medical facts of the case. These facts are then examined in the light of the moral principles involved. But to try to make that decision in advance is to act without all the necessary information. Moreover, to make that decision legally binding by means of a formal document is really putting the cart before the horse. It is not morally justified. Living Wills are both unnecessary and dangerous. 10
